Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est observ\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement sous des hautes latitudes\u00a0\u00bb, explique Jean-Claude G\u00e9rard, un sp\u00e9cialiste de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge, \u00e0 RTL. Celle-ci est si puissante qu&rsquo;elle pourrait g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des aurores bor\u00e9ales visibles depuis la France. Elles peuvent \u00eatre vues du sol, en regardant vers le nord, mais seulement une heure apr\u00e8s le cr\u00e9puscule ou une heure avant l&rsquo;aube note l&rsquo;Agence am\u00e9ricaine d&rsquo;observation oc\u00e9anique et atmosph\u00e9rique (Noaa) sur son site. Il appara\u00eetra plut\u00f4t une lumi\u00e8re rouge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les pr\u00e9visions, seules la Belgique et le nord de la France devraient pouvoir observer le spectacle dans la nuit de mercredi 4 novembre 2015 (de 23h \u00e0 2h du matin environ).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En jetant un \u0153il aux pr\u00e9visions, la probabilit\u00e9 de voir une aurore bor\u00e9ale chez nous est assez faible mais elle existe. La cons\u00e9quence de la rencontre entre les vents solaires et l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re de la terre est la lib\u00e9ration de protons, des particules de lumi\u00e8res qui se transforment en tra\u00een\u00e9es de couleur dans le ciel. L&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne provoque la coloration verte, qui illumine souvent le ciel polaire.
