En couvrir 2,5% des surfaces routi\u00e8res assurerait 10% des besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de la France.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On connaissait l\u2019autoroute du soleil, voici maintenant la route solaire. Ou plut\u00f4t la route (ou le parking) photovolta\u00efque, v\u00e9ritable centrale qui produira de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 par la simple exposition de son rev\u00eatement au soleil. Colas, la filiale de travaux routiers du groupe Bouygues, a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 ce mardi au lancement commercial de cette premi\u00e8re mondiale, sous le nom de \u00ab\u2009Wattway\u2009\u00bb. En phase d\u2019industrialisation, le rev\u00eatement compos\u00e9 de cellules photovolta\u00efques sera vendu \u00e0 compter de janvier, au terme de cinq ans de recherche avec l\u2019Institut national de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire (Ines).<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rHqmODYSSfk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=fr-FR&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u2009Il n\u2019y a pas besoin de refaire les infrastructures, explique le PDG de Colas, Herv\u00e9 Le Bouc. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un rev\u00eatement routier commercialis\u00e9 sous forme de dalles qui s\u2019appliquent sur les routes ou parkings\u2009\u00bb. Ces dalles\u00ad (comprenant chacune une cellule photovolta\u00efque classique de 15 centim\u00e8tres de c\u00f4t\u00e9) sont coll\u00e9es \u00e0 la route existante et recouvertes d\u2019un substrat de r\u00e9sines supportant la circulation des v\u00e9hicules, y compris les poids lourds. Un v\u00e9ritable millefeuille, \u00e9tanche et con\u00e7u pour ne pas \u00eatre plus abrasif ou glissant qu\u2019un rev\u00eatement routier normal. \u00ab\u2009A Chamb\u00e9ry et Grenoble, on a test\u00e9 Wattway avec succ\u00e8s sur un cycle d\u2019un million de v\u00e9hicules, soit vingt ans de trafic normal d\u2019une route, et la surface ne bouge pas\u2009\u00bb, assure Herv\u00e9 Le Bouc. C\u2019est un tour de force car, pr\u00e9cise t-il, \u00ab\u2009les panneaux photovolta\u00efques, en tant que tels, sont fragiles et s\u2019\u00e9craseraient comme des biscottes. Ou alors les logements peuvent y \u00eatre directement branch\u00e9s \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le PDG de Colas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un kilom\u00e8tre de route peut \u00e9clairer une ville de 5.000 habitants<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les applications sont multiples : \u00e9clairage public, alimentation des affichages lumineux des abribus ou des feux rouges en zone urbaine, ou encore besoins des habitations en zones peu peupl\u00e9es. Les dalles Wattway, dont le rendement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique est proche des panneaux photovolta\u00efques des fermes solaires, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9es avec succ\u00e8s par trois d\u00e9monstrateurs, dont des entr\u00e9es de parking, notamment. D\u2019apr\u00e8s les estimations de l\u2019ADEME, 4 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de chauss\u00e9e \u00e9quip\u00e9e (soit 20 m\u00b2) suffisent aux besoins d\u2019un foyer en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 (hors chauffage), 15 m2 alimentent les feux d\u2019un carrefour et un kilom\u00e8tre de route peut \u00e9clairer une ville de 5.000 habitants. Wattway peut aussi recharger les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques par induction : 100 m2 fournit l\u2019\u00e9nergie pour rouler 100.000 kilom\u00e8tres par an, selon l\u2019INES.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab Si on recouvrait un quart des routes, on assurerait l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de la France, souligne Herv\u00e9 Le Bouc. En dotant 2,5% des surfaces d\u2019un tel rev\u00eatement solaire, on couvrirait d\u00e9j\u00e0 10% des besoins. Cela montre l\u2019enjeu derri\u00e8re ce projet \u00bb. Wattway va monter en puissance progressivement sur trois ou quatre ans. \u00ab Nous proposons dans un premier temps \u00e0 des clients d\u2019en \u00e9quiper de petites surfaces : des parkings d\u2019hypermarch\u00e9s ou des tron\u00e7ons de voies, par exemple sur une zone d\u2019une centaine de m2, pour tester en conditions r\u00e9elles le produit, ajoute-il.
