Autosuffisant, ce robot flexible pourrait un jour sillonner les oc\u00e9ans d\u2019Europa, la sixi\u00e8me lune de Jupiter , afin d\u2019effectuer diverses mesures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les chercheurs ont pris pour mod\u00e8le l\u2019un des poissons les plus curieux qui existe sur terre, la lamproie. Cette id\u00e9e de robot bio-inspir\u00e9 semble plut\u00f4t saugrenue mais elle a s\u00e9duit les responsables du programme NIAC de la NASA. un programme de recherche tous azimuts qui veut rendre des id\u00e9es qui paraissent issues de romans de science fiction , bien r\u00e9elles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le programme NIAC, acronyme de NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts est un programme de financement de projets de recherches dont le but avou\u00e9 est de rendre la science fiction r\u00e9elle. Le but \u00e9tant de d\u00e9nicher des id\u00e9es en rupture avec les projets d\u2019exploration spatiale \u00ab classiques \u00bb. Le projet de \u00ab lamproie de l\u2019espace \u00bb parait assez surprenant, mais il faudra sans doute attendre plusieurs dizaines d\u2019ann\u00e9es avant que celle-ci soit exp\u00e9di\u00e9e vers Europa. La NASA a accord\u00e9 100.000 $ \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe d\u2019engineering de Cornell pour voir si un tel poisson robotique est faisable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le robot, construit en impression 3D devra aussi \u00eatre autosuffisant. Pas de pile atomique, pas de carburant venu de la terre et bien entendu pas de panneaux solaires pour cette lamproie marine.
