Boule de cristal, informations secr\u00e8tes, capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 lire dans le futur, comment les deux chercheurs sont-ils parvenus \u00e0 cette d\u00e9couverte ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Les d\u00e9tails, bien s\u00fbr, sont compliqu\u00e9s, mais pas besoin de se lancer dans des acrobaties math\u00e9matiques (pour les experts, un PDF des Professeurs Samuel Arbesmans et Gregory Laughlins, est disponible ici) pour comprendre le principe. Les deux universitaires se sont fond\u00e9s sur les d\u00e9couvertes d&rsquo;exoplan\u00e8tes dans les 15 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. En observant les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de ces exoplan\u00e8tes, leur temp\u00e9rature et leur masse, les universitaires d\u00e9terminent si les plan\u00e8tes sont habitables ou pas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Et, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s Arbesman et Laughlins, si les d\u00e9couvertes se poursuivent au m\u00eame rythme, le sacr\u00e9 graal, la d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;une plan\u00e8te similaire \u00e0 la Terre, c&rsquo;est pour l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e prochaine. Si on suit la longue tra\u00eene des statistiques, les probabilit\u00e9s de d\u00e9couvrir une plan\u00e8te semblable \u00e0 la Terre d&rsquo;ici 2013 sont de 66%, et de 75% d&rsquo;ici 2020. Mais la date m\u00e9diane de d\u00e9couverte du jumeau terrestre est bien plus proche.
