Elle a d\u00e9tect\u00e9 des temp\u00e9ratures de -93 degr\u00e9s Celsius, suffisamment \u00e9lev\u00e9es pour laisser penser que les temp\u00e9ratures sous la surface d&rsquo;Encelade seraient compatibles avec la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;eau \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tat liquide, un des crit\u00e8res pour que la vie soit possible, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 John Spencer, l&rsquo;un des scientifiques de la mission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00ab\u00a0Cela signifie qu&rsquo;il y a un niveau d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie important d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 \u00e0 la surface dans cette r\u00e9gion\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Il est tout \u00e0 fait possible qu&rsquo;il y ait de l&rsquo;eau \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tat liquide pas loin sous la surface de ces failles\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il dit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous voyons sur Encelade les trois ingr\u00e9dients de base \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de la vie\u00a0\u00bb, l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, les composants organiques et l&rsquo;eau, a poursuivi Larry Esposito de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 du Colorado, qui travaille sur l&rsquo;imagerie de Cassini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Il s&rsquo;agit du 1er des 4 vols de Cassini pr\u00e9vus cette ann\u00e9e pour explorer ce geyser qui serait form\u00e9 \u00e0 90% de cristaux de glace d&rsquo;eau.<\/span><\/p><div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e le 7 f\u00e9vrier par la revue scientifique britannique Nature tendait \u00e0 confirmer qu&rsquo;Encelade pourrait receler de l&rsquo;eau sous forme liquide dans son sous-sol dans la r\u00e9gion du p\u00f4le Sud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">L&rsquo;analyse des vitesses d&rsquo;expulsion des diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments des geysers d\u00e9tect\u00e9s par la sonde am\u00e9ricaine Cassini \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la zone surnomm\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0rayures de tigre\u00a0\u00bb, laisse entendre qu&rsquo;une partie proviendrait d&rsquo;eau, expliquait alors le principal auteur, Jurgen Schmidt, de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Postdam (Allemagne).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude avait conclu que ces geysers pouvaient s&rsquo;expliquer par l&rsquo;effet des mar\u00e9es auxquels est soumis ce petit corps glac\u00e9, de par sa proximit\u00e9 avec Saturne. Il faut qu&rsquo;un oc\u00e9an subsiste sous la couche de glace qui recouvre Encelade, du moins dans la r\u00e9gion du p\u00f4le Sud, pour faire bouger la cro\u00fbte de glace, concluaient les chercheurs. Les r\u00e9sultats de la nouvelle \u00e9tude \u00ab\u00a0impliquent que de l&rsquo;eau sous forme liquide existe\u00a0\u00bb bien, selon les auteurs de l&rsquo;article publi\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Lanc\u00e9e en 1997, Cassini-Huygens est la premi\u00e8re mission spatiale consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;exploration de Saturne.
