{"id":26520,"date":"2025-01-10T12:00:56","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T11:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.laterredufutur.com\/accueil\/?p=26520"},"modified":"2025-01-03T08:51:39","modified_gmt":"2025-01-03T07:51:39","slug":"la-nasa-a-decouvert-une-planete-plus-imposante-que-la-terre-avec-un-gaz-qui-nest-produit-que-par-la-vie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.laterredufutur.com\/accueil\/la-nasa-a-decouvert-une-planete-plus-imposante-que-la-terre-avec-un-gaz-qui-nest-produit-que-par-la-vie\/","title":{"rendered":"La NASA a d\u00e9couvert une plan\u00e8te plus imposante que la Terre avec un gaz qui n&rsquo;est produit que par la vie"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>La NASA a d\u00e9couvert une plan\u00e8te plus grande que la Terre, accompagn\u00e9e d&rsquo;un gaz \u00ab uniquement produit par la vie \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que l&rsquo;agence spatiale continue de faire d&rsquo;incroyables d\u00e9couvertes dans notre syst\u00e8me solaire, l&rsquo;une d&rsquo;entre elles, datant de 2023, est toujours aussi impressionnante.<\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9couverte a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce au t\u00e9lescope spatial James Webb de la NASA, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une fus\u00e9e Ariane 5 depuis le port spatial europ\u00e9en situ\u00e9 en Guyane fran\u00e7aise, en Am\u00e9rique du Sud.<\/p>\n<p>Si le t\u00e9lescope a permis de faire de nombreuses d\u00e9couvertes impressionnantes ces derniers temps, la d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;une plan\u00e8te en 2023 est certainement l&rsquo;une des plus impressionnantes.<\/p>\n<p>La plan\u00e8te<br \/>\nUne exoplan\u00e8te appel\u00e9e K2-18 b &#8211; \u00e9galement connue sous le nom d&rsquo;EPIC 201912552 b &#8211; orbite autour de la naine rouge K2-18 dans ce que la NASA appelle une \u00ab zone habitable \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 124 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de la Terre, elle a un rayon 2,6 fois sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de la Terre et une masse 8,6 fois sup\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte pour la premi\u00e8re fois par le t\u00e9lescope spatial Kepler de la NASA, lanc\u00e9 en 2009, mais c&rsquo;est au cours de la mission du t\u00e9lescope Webb que l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re de la plan\u00e8te a \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9e de plus pr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Les d\u00e9couvertes<br \/>\nL&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, la NASA a d\u00e9couvert que K2-18b contenait des mol\u00e9cules carbon\u00e9es, notamment du m\u00e9thane et du dioxyde de carbone.<\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9couverte est venue s&rsquo;ajouter \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres qui sugg\u00e9raient que la plan\u00e8te pourrait \u00eatre une \u00ab exoplan\u00e8te hydrique \u00bb, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire \u00ab une exoplan\u00e8te susceptible de poss\u00e9der une atmosph\u00e8re riche en hydrog\u00e8ne et une surface recouverte d&rsquo;un oc\u00e9an d&rsquo;eau \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces premi\u00e8res observations de Webb ont \u00e9galement permis de d\u00e9tecter une mol\u00e9cule appel\u00e9e sulfure de dim\u00e9thyle (DMS) \u00bb, a ajout\u00e9 la NASA.<\/p>\n<p>Des signes de vie ?<br \/>\nLa NASA explique : \u00ab L&rsquo;abondance de m\u00e9thane et de sulfure de dim\u00e9thyle a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e : \u00ab L&rsquo;abondance de m\u00e9thane et de dioxyde de carbone, et la p\u00e9nurie d&rsquo;ammoniac, soutiennent l&rsquo;hypoth\u00e8se de l&rsquo;existence d&rsquo;un oc\u00e9an d&rsquo;eau sous une atmosph\u00e8re riche en hydrog\u00e8ne dans K2-18 b.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces premi\u00e8res observations de Webb ont \u00e9galement permis de d\u00e9tecter une mol\u00e9cule appel\u00e9e sulfure de dim\u00e9thyle (DMS). Sur Terre, cette mol\u00e9cule n&rsquo;est produite que par la vie. La majeure partie du DMS pr\u00e9sent dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re terrestre est \u00e9mise par le phytoplancton dans les environnements marins \u00bb.<\/p><div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none;
