Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 96 ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re de la Terre, dans la constellation des Poissons, l\u2019\u00e9toile GJ 9827 est entour\u00e9e d\u2019au moins trois exoplan\u00e8tes d\u00e9couvertes en 2017 par le t\u00e9lescope Kepler. Parmi ces trois exoplan\u00e8tes, GJ 9827 est la plus grosse et fait le tour de son \u00e9toile en seulement 6,201 jours. \u00c0 sa surface, sa temp\u00e9rature est estim\u00e9e proche de 425 degr\u00e9s Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>Les astronomes ont donc pass\u00e9 plusieurs heures \u00e0 l\u2019observer, d\u2019abord gr\u00e2ce au spectographe Planet Finder du t\u00e9lescope Magellan II, install\u00e9 au Chili.
