Des chercheurs chinois ont r\u00e9cemment franchi une \u00e9tape majeure dans le domaine de la technologie a\u00e9ronautique en d\u00e9veloppant ce qui est qualifi\u00e9 de \u00ab moteur hypersonique le plus puissant au monde \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Selon des informations r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9es par le South China Morning Post, ce moteur permettrait \u00e0 un avion d&rsquo;atteindre la vitesse vertigineuse de Mach 16 tout en \u00e9voluant \u00e0 une altitude de 30 kilom\u00e8tres. Ces avanc\u00e9es technologiques prometteuses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9taill\u00e9es dans le Journal of Propulsion Technology chinois.<\/p>\n<p>Le moteur hypersonique en question se d\u00e9marque par ses deux modes de fonctionnement distincts. Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 atteindre Mach 7, il op\u00e8re en utilisant la d\u00e9tonation rotative. Dans ce mode, le carburant et le comburant sont introduits dans l&rsquo;espace entre deux cylindres coaxiaux de diam\u00e8tres diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n<p>Les d\u00e9tonations se propagent de mani\u00e8re continue autour du canal, offrant une efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique notable tout en restant \u00e9conomique en termes de carburant. Surpassant ainsi le LENX-X, le tunnel \u00e0 vent new-yorkais atteignant Mach 30. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, les am\u00e9ricains participent \u00e9galement \u00e0 la \u00ab course hypersonique \u00bb. L\u2019entreprise d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie a\u00e9ronautique Lockheed Martin d\u00e9veloppe actuellement l\u2019avion hypersonique SR-72, successeur du SR-71 Blackbird, pouvant atteindre Mach 6 (7400 km\/h) et pr\u00e9vu pour 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Un long moment s\u2019\u00e9coulera encore avant que les compagnies a\u00e9riennes puissent proposer des vols hypersoniques \u00e0 leurs clients.
