Tous les nuages de Neptune ont disparu, et les scientifiques pensent que le soleil en est responsable.<\/p>\n<p>La disparition des brins blancs et vaporeux de m\u00e9thane gel\u00e9 qui pars\u00e8ment habituellement le visage azur de Neptune a \u00e9t\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 des changements dans le rayonnement ultraviolet (UV) alors que l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 du soleil atteint un maximum de 11 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Les nuages autour de la huiti\u00e8me et plus lointaine plan\u00e8te du syst\u00e8me solaire &#8211; situ\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 4,5 milliards de kilom\u00e8tres du soleil &#8211; ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 s&rsquo;estomper en 2019 et ont disparu sans laisser de trace en 2020. En analysant les donn\u00e9es recueillies par le t\u00e9lescope spatial Hubble, l&rsquo;observatoire Keck \u00e0 Hawa\u00ef et l&rsquo;observatoire Lick en Californie, les astronomes ont observ\u00e9 qu&rsquo;apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9lai de deux ans, les pics d&rsquo;activit\u00e9 du soleil g\u00e9n\u00e8rent une plus grande couverture nuageuse au-dessus de Neptune, tandis que les creux provoquent sa dissipation.<\/p>\n<p>La cause exacte de ce changement n&rsquo;est pas connue avec certitude.
