Entre la France, la Grande-Bretagne et l\u2019Allemagne un pays fertile s\u2019\u00e9tendait encore il y a 10 000 ans.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pour les arch\u00e9ologues, il s&rsquo;agit-l\u00e0 d&rsquo;un d\u00e9couverte \u00e9tonnante qui apporte des renseignements in\u00e9dits sur la pr\u00e9histoire. Nombre d\u2019entre eux d\u00e9couvrent dans leurs filets des objets qui n\u2019ont rien \u00e0 y faire : des \u00e9normes d\u00e9fenses de mammouths voire des squelettes de rhinoc\u00e9ros laineux ! On imagine le m\u00e9lange d\u2019\u00e9tonnement et de crainte qu\u2019ont d\u00fb provoquer ces restes de cr\u00e9atures oubli\u00e9es. Il les a convaincus de lui rapporter ces squelettes \u00e9tranges et de noter l&rsquo;endroit o\u00f9 ils avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 p\u00each\u00e9s. En 1985, un capitaine rapporte ainsi \u00e0 M. Mol une m\u00e2choire humaine, dont la datation au carbone d\u00e9montrera qu\u2019elle est vieille de plus de 9 500 ans. De ce paradis, il reste des traces g\u00e9ographiques pour qui sait sonder les fonds sous-marins. Ainsi le Dogger Bank, un banc de sable immerg\u00e9 situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la hauteur du Yorkshire et qui a donn\u00e9 son nom au Doggerland, est un r\u00e9sidu des plateaux pr\u00e9historiques. Durant l\u2019\u00e8re glaciaire, le niveau des mers \u00e9tait consid\u00e9rablement plus bas que celui que nous connaissons : jusqu\u2019\u00e0 120 m de diff\u00e9rence ! Les parties les moins profondes de la mer du Nord \u00e9taient \u00e9merg\u00e9es. Elles se couvraient de for\u00eats humides et de marais, de nombreux fleuves les parcouraient, les chasseurs, les cueilleurs et les p\u00eacheurs prosp\u00e9raient !
