Des marqueurs tels que les concentrations de dioxyde de carbone peuvent ensuite compar\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u2019autres donn\u00e9es anciennes afin de mieux comprendre le climat pass\u00e9 et la fa\u00e7on dont il a \u00e9volu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre de travaux publi\u00e9s dans la revue Cryosphere, des scientifiques de l\u2019universit\u00e9 du Dakota du Nord ont pu remonter plus loin que jamais dans le temps gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce qui pourrait \u00eatre la plus ancienne carotte de glace for\u00e9e \u00e0 ce jour.
