Un suivi constant des ast\u00e9ro\u00efdes g\u00e9ocroiseurs\u2028 La NASA prend tr\u00e8s au s\u00e9rieux les menaces d\u2019impact d\u2019ast\u00e9ro\u00efde \u00e9voluant \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la Terre. Ces corps, d\u00e9sign\u00e9s sous le terme de g\u00e9ocroiseurs font l\u2019objet d\u2019un rigoureux suivi. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pour les d\u00e9tecter, l\u2019agence fait appel \u00e0 des astronomes amateurs et professionnels qui signalent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement la pr\u00e9sence de nouveau objets. \u2028\u2028Lorsqu\u2019un nouvel ast\u00e9ro\u00efde est d\u00e9couvert, les scientifiques se chargent de calculer sa trajectoire afin de d\u00e9finir si son orbite croise celui de la Terre et repr\u00e9sente un potentiel danger. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce travail pr\u00e8s de 90% des g\u00e9ocroiseurs d\u2019un diam\u00e8tre sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 un kilom\u00e8tre ont pu \u00eatre r\u00e9pertori\u00e9s. Les scientifiques se concentrent d\u00e9sormais au recensement d\u2019ast\u00e9ro\u00efdes ayant une taille comprise entre 100 m\u00e8tres et un kilom\u00e8tre. A ce jour pr\u00e8s de 30% ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s.
