Plus l\u00e9g\u00e8re et plus durable, la SRLV ne p\u00e8se pas lourd non plus sur le portefeuille.<\/p>\n<p>Argument de poids. Pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions d\u2019une auto, on peut \u00e0 loisir opter pour une propulsion \u00e9lectrique, une pile \u00e0 combustible hydrog\u00e8ne ou encore r\u00e9duire le poids du v\u00e9hicule. Sinon, on peut tenter de cumuler les trois solutions \u00e0 la fois, comme le Centre a\u00e9rospatial allemand (le Deutsches Zentrum f\u00fcr Luft und Raumfahrt, mieux connu en tant que DLR) qui, pour son prototype SLRV (Safe Light Regional Vehicle) utilise un petit groupe motopropulseur \u00e9lectrique reposant sur une pile \u00e0 combustible hydrog\u00e8ne et con\u00e7u autour d\u2019une structure ultra l\u00e9g\u00e8re en mousse m\u00e9tallique (90 kilos seulement !). R\u00e9sultat, le poids total du v\u00e9hicule passe sous la barre des 450 kilos. On peut difficilement faire plus l\u00e9ger.<\/p>\n<p>Le petit bolide en mousse. L\u2019objectif de la SLRV est d\u2019\u00eatre un v\u00e9hicule l\u00e9ger, s\u00fbr et abordable. Et ce n\u2019est pas parce qu\u2019il est en \u00ab mousse \u00bb qu\u2019il faut craindre le moindre impact. Cette mousse \u00ab m\u00e9tallique \u00bb constitue l\u2019\u00e9pine dorsale de la conception et prot\u00e8ge \u00e0 la fois les composants essentiels du v\u00e9hicule ainsi que les passagers en absorbant efficacement l\u2019\u00e9nergie des chocs.<\/p>\n<p>Longue de 3,8 m\u00e8tres, la SLRV poss\u00e8de un ensemble pile \u00e0 combustible\/batterie pesant moins qu\u2019une batterie classique. La pile \u00e0 combustible fournit une puissance continue de 8,5 kilowatts tandis que la batterie apporte jusqu\u2019\u00e0 25 kilowatts suppl\u00e9mentaires. Cette combinaison permet d\u2019atteindre une autonomie de 400 kilom\u00e8tres et une vitesse de 120 km\/h. Deux petits plus : non seulement la chaleur r\u00e9siduelle de la pile \u00e0 combustible est r\u00e9utilis\u00e9e pour le chauffage de l\u2019habitacle mais en plus, pour ne rien g\u00e2cher, le design de l\u2019engin est plus rac\u00e9 que les voitures vertes ordinaires.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AsS1lh29EMU?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=fr-FR&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cinq centimes le kilom\u00e8tre. Conforme aux normes europ\u00e9ennes en tant que quadricycle lourd \u00e0 moteur L7e, aucune commercialisation n\u2019a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9vue pour la SLRV. Cela \u00e9tant dit, l\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet estime que la voiture ne co\u00fbterait pas plus de 15 000 euros. Pas mal, surtout pour une voiture dont la dur\u00e9e de vie est estim\u00e9e \u00e0 300 000 kilom\u00e8tres.
