Selon TEPCO, des centaines de r\u00e9servoirs de stockage de la centrale doivent \u00eatre retir\u00e9s pour faire place aux installations n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement de la centrale.<\/p>\n<p>Un responsable du projet d&rsquo;\u00e9vacuation de l&rsquo;eau, Junichi Matsumoto, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que TEPCO construira le tunnel sous-marin en forant dans la roche du fond marin pr\u00e8s du r\u00e9acteur n\u00b0 5, qui a surv\u00e9cu aux fusions de la centrale, afin de minimiser les risques de contamination souterraine ou de fuite d&rsquo;eau souterraine radioactive dans le tunnel.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4i_xTCQElvQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=fr-FR&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Des quantit\u00e9s croissantes d&rsquo;eau radioactive sont stock\u00e9es dans environ 1 000 r\u00e9servoirs de la centrale de Fukushima Daiichi depuis 2011, lorsqu&rsquo;un s\u00e9isme et un tsunami massifs ont endommag\u00e9 trois r\u00e9acteurs et que leur eau de refroidissement a \u00e9t\u00e9 contamin\u00e9e et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 fuir. La centrale indique que les r\u00e9servoirs atteindront leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e prochaine.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 en avril de commencer \u00e0 d\u00e9verser l&rsquo;eau, apr\u00e8s un traitement et une dilution suppl\u00e9mentaires, dans l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an Pacifique au printemps 2023, conform\u00e9ment aux normes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fix\u00e9es par les r\u00e9gulateurs. Les ouvriers de la centrale doivent pr\u00e9lever des \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;eau avant son rejet et examiner quotidiennement des \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;eau de mer provenant de plusieurs endroits. Le Japon a obtenu l&rsquo;accord de l&rsquo;Agence internationale de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie atomique pour coop\u00e9rer \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage et \u00e0 la surveillance de l&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n<p>Le rejet contr\u00f4l\u00e9, avec un plafond annuel de mati\u00e8res radioactives, se poursuivra pendant environ 30 ans, ou jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la fin du d\u00e9classement de la centrale, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Matsumoto.<\/p>\n<p>TEPCO a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle pr\u00e9voyait de demander \u00e0 l&rsquo;Autorit\u00e9 de r\u00e9gulation nucl\u00e9aire un examen de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du plan du tunnel apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu le soutien des p\u00eacheurs locaux et d&rsquo;autres r\u00e9sidents. Elle esp\u00e8re lancer la construction pour que le d\u00e9chargement puisse commencer au printemps 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement a adopt\u00e9 mardi un plan provisoire qui pr\u00e9voit un fonds destin\u00e9 \u00e0 amortir l&rsquo;impact de tout rapport n\u00e9gatif sur le rejet et \u00e0 indemniser les p\u00eacheries et autres entreprises locales pour tout dommage.<\/p>\n<p>Les autorit\u00e9s japonaises ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le rejet dans l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an \u00e9tait l&rsquo;option la plus r\u00e9aliste pour \u00e9vacuer l&rsquo;eau, qui, selon elles, est n\u00e9cessaire pour le d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement de la centrale. Les responsables du gouvernement et de TEPCO affirment que le tritium, qui n&rsquo;est pas dangereux en petites quantit\u00e9s, ne peut \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9 de l&rsquo;eau, mais que tous les autres isotopes s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour le traitement peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9duits \u00e0 des niveaux s\u00fbrs avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre rejet\u00e9s.
