{"id":22965,"date":"2021-08-24T17:34:40","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T15:34:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.laterredufutur.com\/accueil\/?p=22965"},"modified":"2021-08-24T17:35:48","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T15:35:48","slug":"depuis-20000-ans-le-niveau-des-oceans-a-fluctue-enormement-de-moins-de-120m-a-plus-de-90m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.laterredufutur.com\/accueil\/depuis-20000-ans-le-niveau-des-oceans-a-fluctue-enormement-de-moins-de-120m-a-plus-de-90m\/","title":{"rendered":"Depuis 20000 ans, le niveau des oc\u00e9ans a fluctu\u00e9 \u00e9norm\u00e9ment.. de moins de 120m \u00e0 plus de 90m"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Une nouvelle \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re que le niveau relatif de la mer en Colombie-Britannique (Canada) est rest\u00e9 10 m\u00e8tres plus haut qu&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;il tombe \u00e0 son niveau actuel depuis 1800 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Deux autres nouvelles \u00e9tudes sugg\u00e8rent que le niveau des mers \u00e9tait encore de 0,8 \u00e0 1 m\u00e8tre plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui pendant la p\u00e9riode de r\u00e9chauffement m\u00e9di\u00e9val.<br \/>\nApr\u00e8s le pic de la derni\u00e8re glaciation, il y a environ 20 000 ans, le niveau relatif des mers est ensuite pass\u00e9 de 120 m\u00e8tres en dessous du niveau actuel des mers, puis il y a environ 14 500 ans \u00e0 des hauteurs de 90 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du niveau actuel, dans le canal Douglas, pr\u00e8s de la Colombie-Britannique, au Canada (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0277379121001980\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Letham et al., 2021<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Le niveau de la mer a ensuite baiss\u00e9 de 75 \u00e0 80 m\u00e8tres au cours des 3 000 ann\u00e9es suivantes, soit environ -2,5 m\u00e8tres par si\u00e8cle (-25 mm\/an), puis il est rest\u00e9 \u00e0 10-15 m au-dessus du niveau actuel pendant les 9 000 ans qui ont suivi.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00bb Nous d\u00e9terminons que le centre du canal Douglas \u00e9tait libre de glace apr\u00e8s le dernier maximum glaciaire vers -14 500 ans et que le niveau de la mer \u00e9tait au moins 90 m plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui. Le rebond isostatique a fait chuter le niveau de la mer \u00e0 21 m vers -11 500 ans, bien qu&rsquo;il ait pu y avoir une r\u00e9-avanc\u00e9e glaciaire qui aurait interrompu la chute du niveau de la mer vers le d\u00e9but du Dryas R\u00e9cent. Le niveau de la mer est tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 10-15 m vers -10 000 ans, et a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 baisser \u00e0 un rythme plus lent vers sa position actuelle, qu&rsquo;il a atteint il y a \u223c1800 ans.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"22966\" al.<\/a>) a indiqu\u00e9 que le niveau des mers de l&rsquo;Antarctique \u00e9tait au moins 15 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du niveau actuel il y a 9000 ans. Le RSL a chut\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 -110 cm entre 1300 et 1850 apr\u00e8s J.-C.\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1177\/09596836211033215\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yan et al., 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La roche de plage est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une bonne archive pour les niveaux marins pass\u00e9s en raison de sa position de formation unique (zone intertidale). Pour \u00e9valuer l&rsquo;histoire du niveau de la mer dans le nord de la mer de Chine m\u00e9ridionale, trois affleurements rocheux de plage bien pr\u00e9serv\u00e9s (Beigang, Gongshanbei et Hengling) sur l&rsquo;\u00eele de Weizhou, dans le nord de la mer de Chine m\u00e9ridionale, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour examiner leur \u00e9l\u00e9vation relative et leurs caract\u00e9ristiques s\u00e9dimentologiques, min\u00e9ralogiques et g\u00e9ochimiques. Des branches d&rsquo;Acropora avec des micro-structures de surface bien pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es sur les beachrocks et utilis\u00e9es pour d\u00e9terminer les \u00e2ges de ces beachrocks par le biais de la datation de la s\u00e9rie U. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que les branches d&rsquo;Acropora ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es pour d\u00e9terminer les \u00e2ges de ces beachrocks. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que les beachrocks sont compos\u00e9s de s\u00e9diments de r\u00e9cifs coralliens, de clastiques terrig\u00e8nes, de clastiques volcaniques et de divers ciments de calcite. Ces s\u00e9diments accumul\u00e9s dans la zone intertidale de l&rsquo;\u00eele de Weizhou ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 ciment\u00e9s dans un environnement d&rsquo;eau m\u00e9t\u00e9orique. Les \u00e2ges de la s\u00e9rie U des roches de plage de Beigang, Gongshanbei, et Hengling sont 1712-768 ca. BP, 1766-1070 ca. BP, et 1493-604 ca. BP (avant 1950 AD) respectivement.
