Des ouragans qui se d\u00e9cha\u00eeneraient dans les hautes atmosph\u00e8res des plan\u00e8tes. Des sortes d&rsquo;ouragans spatiaux. Les chercheurs avaient imagin\u00e9 leur existence. Et ils viennent tout juste de la d\u00e9montrer en observant l&rsquo;un de ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes au-dessus du p\u00f4le Nord de notre Terre.<\/p>\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, un ouragan spatial a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert, prouvant ainsi l&rsquo;existence d&rsquo;un tel ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, qui \u00e9tait simplement suppos\u00e9e jusque-l\u00e0. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 remarqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;observation d&rsquo;images satellites datant du 20 ao\u00fbt 2014 de la haute atmosph\u00e8re, au-dessus du P\u00f4le Nord de la Terre. La d\u00e9couverte, faite par un groupe de chercheurs chinois de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Shandong, a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e dans la revue scientifique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-021-21459-y\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nature<\/a> la semaine derni\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Les observations satellitaires ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 un &lsquo;ouragan spatial&rsquo; sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent dans la haute atmosph\u00e8re de la Terre, laissant entendre que de tels \u00e9v\u00e9nements pourraient se produire sur d\u2019autres corps plan\u00e9taires\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9crit la revue scientifique. Jusque-l\u00e0, \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019existence d\u2019ouragans spatiaux &#8211; des modes de circulation semblables \u00e0 des ouragans dans les hautes atmosph\u00e8res des plan\u00e8tes &#8211; \u00e9tait incertaine\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Qu&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;un ouragan spatial?<\/p>\n<p>Dans notre atmosph\u00e8re, un ouragan est une \u00ab\u00a0temp\u00eate tr\u00e8s violente suscitant des vents dont les vitesses moyennes atteignent des valeurs de l&rsquo;ordre de 120 km\/h ou davantage\u00a0\u00bb, explique M\u00e9t\u00e9o France. Probablement \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un transfert exceptionnellement important et rapide de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie du vent solaire et de particules charg\u00e9es dans la haute atmosph\u00e8re de la Terre.
