Cr\u00e9dit: Rodriguez et al 2020<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Les d\u00e9tections du TESS \u00e9taient passionnantes  mais incertaines: les signaux \u00e9taient faibles et il restait une petite possibilit\u00e9 que la d\u00e9tection de TOI-700d soit fausse.\u00a0En raison de l&rsquo;importance potentielle de trouver une plan\u00e8te proche de la taille de la Terre dans une\u00a0zone habitable, les scientifiques de TESS se sont tourn\u00e9s vers la cam\u00e9ra IRAC de l&rsquo;observatoire spatial Spitzer pour confirmation.\u00a0Avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00e9teinte par la NASA en f\u00e9vrier 2020, la cam\u00e9ra IRAC \u00e9tait de loin la cam\u00e9ra infrarouge la plus sensible de l&rsquo;espace.\u00a0L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe TESS a observ\u00e9 TOI-700 avec IRAC en octobre 2019 et janvier 2020, acqu\u00e9rant des d\u00e9tections claires des plan\u00e8tes avec environ deux fois le rapport signal-bruit de TESS, suffisamment pour am\u00e9liorer de 61% l&rsquo;orbite de la plan\u00e8te et de mani\u00e8re significative affiner notre connaissance de ses autres caract\u00e9ristiques, affiner le rayon comme ci-dessus et trouver la masse \u00e0 2,1 masses terrestres.\u00a0Les r\u00e9sultats, en particulier en comparaison avec les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;autres plan\u00e8tes, sugg\u00e8rent que cette plan\u00e8te peut \u00eatre rocheuse et susceptible d&rsquo;avoir un c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la plan\u00e8te toujours face \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9toile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
