Au sein du\u00a0California Institute of Technology, des chercheurs ont mis au point des micro-robots capables de soigner les tumeurs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Des outils pr\u00e9cis&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le concept de micro-robot est vraiment int\u00e9ressant, souligne Lihong Wang, professeur d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie m\u00e9dicale et \u00e9lectrique au sein du California Institute of Technology, car cela permet de placer la micro-machine exactement l\u00e0 o\u00f9 on en a besoin. Cela peut \u00eatre pour d\u00e9poser des m\u00e9dicaments ou pour r\u00e9aliser une micro-chirurgie.\u00a0\u00bb L\u2019outil d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par le chercheur et son assistant permet de traiter les tumeurs pr\u00e9sentes dans le\u00a0tube digestif.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une machine compos\u00e9e de plusieurs couches&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le micro-robot a une forme ronde et est compos\u00e9 de plusieurs\u00a0couches. Le\u00a0magn\u00e9sium\u00a0est la principale mati\u00e8re utilis\u00e9e pour le fabriquer, avec l\u2019or et le paryl\u00e8ne, qui recouvrent la machine. Le\u00a0m\u00e9dicament est ensuite ins\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Pour diriger le micro-robot, les chercheurs ont utilis\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re laser\u00a0infrarouge. Ils pourraient un jour \u00eatre administr\u00e9s par seringue dans le corps humain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un jour, des robots microscopiques pourraient ramper dans notre corps, \u00e9liminer des maladies ou y administrer des m\u00e9dicaments\u2026<br \/><br \/>Des scientifiques de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Cornell ont mis au point de minuscules robots, capables de lutter contre la propagation de tumeurs.<br \/><br \/>Chaque robot est constitu\u00e9 d&rsquo;un simple circuit fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de cellules photovolta\u00efques en silicium (le corps) et de quatre actionneurs \u00e9lectrochimiques (les pattes).<br \/><br \/>L\u2019exploit ? L&rsquo;universit\u00e9 Cornell a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 attacher des \u00ab jambes \u00bb sur de minuscules puces informatiques, capable de marcher jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un emplacement pr\u00e9d\u00e9fini.<br \/><br \/>Pour les faire marcher, des lasers sont projet\u00e9s sur les panneaux photovolta\u00efques de leur corps, qui envoient une charge \u00e9lectrique positive.
