Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces ciseaux mol\u00e9culaires, on peut modifier ais\u00e9ment et pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment n&rsquo;importe quelle portion d&rsquo;ADN pour soigner des maladies, \u00e9laborer des m\u00e9dicaments ou modifier g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement les plantes agricoles.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette r\u00e9compense leur est d\u00e9cern\u00e9e pour la mise au point d&rsquo;\u00ab&nbsp;une m\u00e9thode d\u2019\u00e9dition des g\u00e8nes&nbsp;\u00bb, avec \u00ab&nbsp;un outil pour r\u00e9\u00e9crire le code de la vie&nbsp;\u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 le jury \u00e0 Stockholm en annon\u00e7ant la r\u00e9compense. Le m\u00e9canisme s\u2019appelle Crispr\/Cas9 et est surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab&nbsp;ciseaux mol\u00e9culaires&nbsp;\u00bb. La th\u00e9rapie g\u00e9nique consiste \u00e0 ins\u00e9rer un g\u00e8ne normal dans les cellules qui ont un g\u00e8ne d\u00e9faillant, comme un cheval de Troie, afin qu\u2019il fasse le travail que ce mauvais g\u00e8ne ne fait pas. Mais Crispr va plus loin&nbsp;:&nbsp;au lieu d\u2019ajouter un g\u00e8ne nouveau, l\u2019outil modifie un g\u00e8ne existant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il est facile d\u2019emploi, peu co\u00fbteux et permet aux scientifiques d\u2019aller couper l\u2019ADN exactement l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils le veulent, pour par exemple cr\u00e9er ou corriger une mutation g\u00e9n\u00e9tique et soigner des maladies rares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les \u00ab&nbsp;ciseaux mol\u00e9culaires&nbsp;\u00bb sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme figurant parmi les grandes avanc\u00e9es scientifiques des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.
