Les scientifiques ont trouv\u00e9 de nouvelles preuves que la Terre se d\u00e9place \u00e0 travers les restes d&rsquo;anciennes \u00e9toiles depuis au moins 33 000 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Dans une nouvelle \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans la revue Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs australiens d\u00e9crit comment ils ont extrait un isotope sp\u00e9cial du fer appel\u00e9 fer 60 \u00e0 partir de cinq \u00e9chantillons de s\u00e9diments d&rsquo;eau profonde en utilisant la spectrom\u00e9trie de masse.<\/p>\n<p>Comme les chercheurs l&rsquo;ont \u00e9crit dans leur article, l&rsquo;isotope est \u00abprincipalement produit dans des \u00e9toiles massives et \u00e9ject\u00e9 dans des explosions de supernova\u00bb. En d&rsquo;autres termes, le fer 60 est laiss\u00e9 apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;explosion d&rsquo;une \u00e9toile.<\/p>\n<p>Et parce que le fer 60 est radioactif et se d\u00e9sint\u00e8gre en 15 millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es, la th\u00e9orie est que notre plan\u00e8te est continuellement saupoudr\u00e9e de substance alors qu&rsquo;elle se d\u00e9place \u00e0 travers un \u00abnuage interstellaire local\u00bb, une r\u00e9gion d&rsquo;origine incertaine compos\u00e9e de gaz, de poussi\u00e8re, et plasma.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ces nuages \u200b\u200bpourraient \u00eatre des vestiges d&rsquo;explosions de supernova, une explosion puissante et super brillante d&rsquo;une \u00e9toile\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Anton Wallner, physicien nucl\u00e9aire \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 nationale australienne et auteur principal de l&rsquo;article, dans un communiqu\u00e9 .<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs tentaient de valider d&rsquo;autres d\u00e9couvertes de fer 60 dans des \u00e9chantillons de l&rsquo;Antarctique en \u00e9chantillonnant des \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;eau profonde datant d&rsquo;il y a 33 000 ans.<\/p><div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre la premi\u00e8re fois que des chercheurs d\u00e9couvrent des traces de fer 60. Les \u00e9chantillons pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents montraient des traces de l&rsquo;isotope remontant \u00e0 2,6 \u00e0 6 millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>En examinant des \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;une \u00e9poque beaucoup plus r\u00e9cente de l&rsquo;histoire de notre plan\u00e8te, Wallner et son \u00e9quipe tentaient de trouver des r\u00e9ponses aux myst\u00e8res derri\u00e8re le nuage que traverse notre plan\u00e8te: de quoi elle est faite et d&rsquo;o\u00f9 elle vient.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ce qu&rsquo;ils ont trouv\u00e9 soul\u00e8ve plus de questions que de r\u00e9ponses. Les traces de fer 60 semblaient coh\u00e9rentes sur une longue p\u00e9riode.
