Cependant, si le concept KIT est amen\u00e9 \u00e0 un stade pratique, nous pourrions voir des biocapteurs et de minuscules piles \u00e0 combustible, ou m\u00eame un jour des smartphones et autres, fonctionnant \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 fournie par des cyborgs microscopiques.<\/p>\n<p>Comme peuvent en t\u00e9moigner tous ceux qui ont eu le malheur de toucher une anguille \u00e9lectrique ou de marcher sur un poisson torpille, les organismes vivants peuvent produire des quantit\u00e9s surprenantes d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Niemeyer, a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un \u00e9chafaudage pour la bact\u00e9rie Shewanella oneidensis consistant en un hydrogel poreux compos\u00e9 de nanotubes de carbone et de nanoparticules de silice entrelac\u00e9es par des brins d&rsquo;ADN. Cet \u00e9chafaudage nanocomposite se r\u00e9v\u00e8le tr\u00e8s attractif pour les bact\u00e9ries exo\u00e9lectrog\u00e8nes, les obligeant \u00e0 s&rsquo;y d\u00e9poser, contrairement \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres esp\u00e8ces, comme E.
