Et parmi les missions les plus attendues, celle concernant l&rsquo;ast\u00e9ro\u00efde \u00abPsyche 16\u00bb, promet de capter l&rsquo;attention des passionn\u00e9es d&rsquo;exploration spatiale comme du grand public.<\/p>\n<p>Et pour cause, puisque l&rsquo;ast\u00e9ro\u00efde abriterait une immense quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;or et de m\u00e9taux pr\u00e9cieux. Le tout pour une valeur estim\u00e9e \u00e0 700 quintillons de dollars, soit 700 milliards de mille milliards de milliards. Soit 93 000 milliards de dollars par habitant de la Terre (si l&rsquo;on ne prend pas en compte la d\u00e9valuation cons\u00e9quente de l&rsquo;or si une telle redistribution \u00e9tait effectu\u00e9e).<\/p>\n<p>La mission a \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9e par la Nasa \u00abPsyche : voyage vers un monde de m\u00e9tal\u00bb. C&rsquo;est en 2022 que doit \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e la sonde \u00abPsyche\u00bb depuis le centre spatial Kennedy, en Floride. Elle doit arriver en orbite autour de l&rsquo;ast\u00e9ro\u00efde en 2026, apr\u00e8s trois ans et demie de voyage, propuls\u00e9e par l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire. Ce sera \u00e9galement la premi\u00e8re fois que sera \u00e9tudi\u00e9 un monde constitu\u00e9 uniquement de m\u00e9tal, et non pas de roche et de glace.
