L\u2019\u00e9toile de Scholz, qui tient son nom de l\u2019astronome qui l\u2019a d\u00e9couverte, Ralf-Dieter Scholz, se serait approch\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 7 800 milliards de kilom\u00e8tres de notre plan\u00e8te. Ce qui repr\u00e9sente une distance tr\u00e8s r\u00e9duite sur le plan astronomique puisque l\u2019\u00e9toile la plus proche \u00e0 ce jour, Proxima de Centaure, est \u00e0 plus de 40 000 milliards de kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9toile de Scholz, scientifiquement d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e WISE 0720-0846, est un syst\u00e8me binaire principalement compos\u00e9 d\u2019une naine rouge et, tr\u00e8s probablement, d\u2019une naine brune, gravitant l\u2019une autour de l\u2019autre. Dans une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans la Monthly Notices of the Royal Society par des scientifiques de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Complutense de Madrid et de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Cambridge, on apprend que le passage de Scholz aurait laiss\u00e9 des traces dans notre syst\u00e8me solaire.
