Ses r\u00e9acteurs seront bient\u00f4t dot\u00e9s de leur combustible \u00e0 base d&rsquo;uranium afin, en 2019, d&rsquo;alimenter en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 100.000 habitants \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un port en Sib\u00e9rie. Les d\u00e9fenseurs de l&rsquo;environnement d\u00e9noncent les risques d&rsquo;un tel projet.<\/p>\n<p>Est-ce le r\u00eave ultime des \u00e9nerg\u00e9ticiens traditionnels ou le \u00ab\u00a0cauchemar\u00a0\u00bb des \u00e9cologistes? L&rsquo;Akademik Lomonosov, premi\u00e8re centrale nucl\u00e9aire flottante du monde, a pris la mer au mois de mai 2019. Bas\u00e9s sur des r\u00e9acteurs test\u00e9s dans les sous-marins et les brise-glaces nucl\u00e9aires russes, ils sont d&rsquo;une puissance 20 fois inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du r\u00e9acteur d&rsquo;une centrale \u00e0 eau pressuris\u00e9e b\u00e2tie \u00e0 terre (1450 MW en France).<\/p>\n<p>La centrale a pour destination finale l&rsquo;extr\u00eame-orient russe<br \/>\nLa centrale flottante, install\u00e9e sur un navire de 140 m\u00e8tres de long, est actuellement remorqu\u00e9e sur la mer Baltique. Puis elle longera les c\u00f4tes norv\u00e9giennes pour atteindre le port russe de Mourmansk (pr\u00e8s de la Norv\u00e8ge) sur la mer de Barents. Ce premier voyage s&rsquo;effectue \u00e0 une vitesse de 3 \u00e0 4 noeuds mais sans combustible nucl\u00e9aire. L&rsquo;uranium enrichi n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 leur fonctionnement ne sera charg\u00e9 \u00e0 bord des deux r\u00e9acteurs qu&rsquo;une fois qu&rsquo;ils seront arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 Moursmank, la premi\u00e8re destination d&rsquo;un voyage maritime effectu\u00e9 en deux temps.<\/p>\n<p>A l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 2019, l&rsquo;Akademik Lomonosov reprendra la mer pour \u00eatre remorqu\u00e9e jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 sa destination finale, le port de Pewek, en Sib\u00e9rie orientale dans l&rsquo;extr\u00eame-orient russe. Il s&rsquo;agira d&rsquo;un voyage maritime de 5000 km via la route du nord entre l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an Atlantique et l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an Pacifique par l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an Arctique. La centrale flottante, une fois arrim\u00e9e dans le port sib\u00e9rien, sera reli\u00e9e au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique local. Elle assurera l&rsquo;approvisionnement \u00e9lectrique des habitants et sites miniers de cette zone arctique ainsi que des plates-formes gazi\u00e8res et p\u00e9troli\u00e8res offshore. L&rsquo;ONG a soutenu la Norv\u00e8ge qui s\u2019opposait \u00e0 ce projet. Ensemble, elles ont obtenu que les deux r\u00e9acteurs ne soient aliment\u00e9s en uranium qu\u2019\u00e0 Mourmansk, apr\u00e8s avoir long\u00e9 les c\u00f4tes norv\u00e9giennes.<\/p>\n<p>La Chine a ses propres projets de centrale flottante<br \/>\nGreenpeace rappelle sur son site Internet, par le biais de Jan Haverkamp, un expert nucl\u00e9aire, que \u00ab\u00a0la centrale flottante russe a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en l&rsquo;absence de v\u00e9rification par des experts ind\u00e9pendants\u00a0\u00bb. Le premier prototype doit \u00eatre termin\u00e9 en 2020.
