Certes, les temp\u00e9ratures \u00e0 sa surface descendent souvent loin sous la barre du z\u00e9ro et la plan\u00e8te est en plus all\u00e8grement balay\u00e9e par des radiations mortelles, mais elle n\u2019a pas toujours ressembl\u00e9 au monde que nous connaissons.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, dans son lointain pass\u00e9, Mars \u00e9tait une plan\u00e8te tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente et de nombreux chercheurs pensent ainsi qu\u2019elle a abrit\u00e9 \u00e0 un moment de son existence de vastes rivi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Mars, une plan\u00e8te pas si hostile<br \/>\nOr si Mars a abrit\u00e9 \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un autre de l\u2019eau \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat liquide, il n\u2019est pas idiot de penser qu\u2019elle a aussi pu accueillir en son sein des formes de vie microbiennes ou bact\u00e9riennes.<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9couverte r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs hongrois semble pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment aller dans ce sens.<\/p>\n<p>ALH-77005 a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte dans les collines Allan en Antarctique \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 70, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019une mission men\u00e9e par l\u2019Institut national de recherche polaire du Japon. En l\u2019analysant, les chercheurs de l\u2019\u00e9poque ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que cette m\u00e9t\u00e9orite ne provenait pas d\u2019un ast\u00e9ro\u00efde, mais directement de la plan\u00e8te rouge.<\/p>\n<p>Pour en venir \u00e0 cette conclusion, les chercheurs ont simplement analys\u00e9 la composition de la pierre en 2013 et ils ont alors r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que cette derni\u00e8re comprenait le m\u00eame argon que celui pr\u00e9sent dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re martienne.<\/p><div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, Ildiko Gyollai, Marta Polgari et Szaniszlo Berczi ont men\u00e9 une \u00e9tude portant pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment sur cette m\u00e9t\u00e9orite et ils ont alors eu la surprise de d\u00e9couvrir ce qu\u2019ils estiment \u00eatre des mati\u00e8res organiques sous forme min\u00e9ralis\u00e9e, des mati\u00e8res organiques appartenant \u00e0 des fossiles de bact\u00e9ries.<\/p>\n<p>Des mati\u00e8res organiques retrouv\u00e9es dans une m\u00e9t\u00e9orite martienne<br \/>\nD\u2019apr\u00e8s leurs conclusions, cette d\u00e9couverte serait une nouvelle preuve qu\u2019une forme de vie bact\u00e9rienne a pu exister sur Mars.<\/p>\n<p>Pour d\u00e9couvrir ce fossile, les chercheurs ont commenc\u00e9 par pr\u00e9lever un \u00e9chantillon de coupe de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orite et ils ont ensuite fait appel \u00e0 ma microscopie optique et la microscopie FTIR-ATR afin d\u2019analyser le pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement. L\u2019examen a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 l\u2019existence de structures filiformes et sph\u00e9riques pouvant \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9es comme des biosignatures.<\/p>\n<p>Ce n\u2019est pas la premi\u00e8re fois que de telles traces sont d\u00e9tect\u00e9es dans une m\u00e9t\u00e9orite martienne. ALH-84001, une autre m\u00e9t\u00e9orite provenant de la plan\u00e8te rouge, comprenait aussi des fossiles microbiens ressemblant vaguement \u00e0 des bact\u00e9ries.
