Comme avec le rover Curiosity de la Nasa, depuis 2011. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019a annonc\u00e9 le patron de l&rsquo;Agence spatiale am\u00e9ricaine, Jim Bridenstine, mardi dans le cadre d\u2019une audition au Congr\u00e8s am\u00e9ricain. L\u2019ann\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie puisqu\u2019un voyage sur la plan\u00e8te rouge ne peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que si elle se trouve du m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Soleil que la Terre. C\u2019est une situation qui survient environ tous les 26 mois. La mission devrait durer approximativement deux ans. Un simple trajet aller prend six mois pour parcourir la distance entre la Terre et la plan\u00e8te Mars.<\/p>\n<p>Afin de se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 ce grand p\u00e9riple sur Mars, la NASA envisage de retourner sur la Lune en 2024. En effet, l\u2019Agence spatiale am\u00e9ricaine d\u00e9sire faire des exp\u00e9riences sur notre satellite naturel qui n&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;\u00e0 trois jours de la Terre. Ainsi, elle testera le syst\u00e8me d\u2019atterrissage qu\u2019elle a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9. Ensuite, les astronautes auront comme mandat d\u2019extraire les g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses quantit\u00e9s de glace que l\u2019on y retrouve au p\u00f4le sud. La NASA pourra alors apprendre \u00e0 exploiter cette eau gel\u00e9e, une technique qui pourrait \u00eatre grandement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique sur Mars. La glace est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment qui peut servir de carburant, d&rsquo;eau&nbsp;\u00e0 boire ou encore \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans la production de l&rsquo;air \u00e0 respirer. En gros, le but de cette deuxi\u00e8me mission sur la Lune est de prouver que l\u2019humanit\u00e9 peut vivre et survivre dans un autre monde que le n\u00f4tre.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re martien est pr\u00eat !<\/p>\n<p>Une autre annonce de la NASA prouve que l\u2019humanit\u00e9 est de plus en plus pr\u00e8s de sa mission de coloniser Mars. En effet, le petit h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re qui doit survoler la plan\u00e8te rouge en 2021 est pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre propuls\u00e9 dans le firmament. Il s\u2019agirait de la premi\u00e8re exploration a\u00e9rienne extraterrestre depuis les ballons envoy\u00e9s sur V\u00e9nus en 1985. La Nasa pourra-t-elle tenir ce d\u00e9lai? L&rsquo;agence spatiale affirmait il y a peu de temps encore que remarcher sur la Lune \u00e9tait impossible avant 2028. Beaucoup d&rsquo;experts et d&rsquo;\u00e9lus du Congr\u00e8s en doutent \u00e9galement, en raison des retards du d\u00e9veloppement de la fus\u00e9e qui doit servir pour les missions lunaires, le Space Launch System ou \u00ab\u00a0SLS\u00a0\u00bb, construite par Boeing. L&rsquo;objectif fix\u00e9 par le pr\u00e9sident am\u00e9ricain obligera ainsi la Nasa \u00e0 bouleverser ses habitudes et \u00e0 prendre des risques. Toutefois, rien ne sera simple et 2033 reste une \u00e9ch\u00e9ance sans doute un peu juste&#8230; Il faut dire que la NASA compte sur sa prochaine fus\u00e9e, le SLS pour d\u00e9passer le cap de la Lun.
