Abotalib, associ\u00e9 de recherche postdoctoral \u00e0 l&rsquo;USC, ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les caract\u00e9ristiques de pentes d&rsquo;un crat\u00e8re de la plan\u00e8te et ainsi des courants d&rsquo;eau apparaissaient sur certaines parois.<\/p>\n<p>Les scientifiques pensaient auparavant que ces caract\u00e9ristiques \u00e9taient associ\u00e9es au d\u00e9bit d&rsquo;eau de surface ou \u00e0 un \u00e9coulement proche d&rsquo;eau souterraine, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Essam Heggy de l&rsquo;USC, qui a ajout\u00e9 que cette nouvelle recherche sugg\u00e8re que cela pourrait ne pas \u00eatre vrai.<\/p><div class=\"1665f18d14f35dd9e7566e1a8ac9a3e9\" data-index=\"2\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-2860849627502538\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3019501113\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>\u00abNous proposons une autre hypoth\u00e8se selon laquelle ces eaux proviendraient d&rsquo;une profonde source d&rsquo;eau souterraine sous pression qui remonterait \u00e0 la surface en remontant le long des fissures\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;eau sur Mars : des similitudes ici sur terre<\/p>\n<p>Abotalib, le premier auteur du document, a not\u00e9 que leurs recherches en hydrologie d\u00e9sertique avaient permis de parvenir \u00e0 cette conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons observ\u00e9 les m\u00eames m\u00e9canismes dans le Sahara nord-africain et dans la p\u00e9ninsule arabique, ce qui nous a permis d&rsquo;explorer le m\u00eame m\u00e9canisme sur Mars\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux scientifiques ont conclu que des fractures dans certains des crat\u00e8res de Mars permettaient \u00e0 des sources d&rsquo;eau de remonter \u00e0 la surface \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;une pression exerc\u00e9e en profondeur. Ces sources ont coul\u00e9 \u00e0 la surface, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant les traits lin\u00e9aires nets et distincts que l&rsquo;on trouve sur les parois de ces crat\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Une zone plus large de l&rsquo;eau sur Mars ?<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude, publi\u00e9e jeudi 28 mars 2019 dans Nature Geoscience, sugg\u00e8re que les eaux souterraines pouvaient \u00eatre plus profondes qu&rsquo;on ne le pensait auparavant. Les r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent que ces sources d&rsquo;eau sont un tr\u00e8s bon candidat pour la recherche de l&rsquo;habitabilit\u00e9 de Mars.
