Ses travaux, cosign\u00e9s par des coll\u00e8gues de l&rsquo;Institut de P\u00e9kin sur la nano\u00e9nergie et les nanosyst\u00e8mes, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s mardi dans la revue Nature Communications. Des \u00e9tudes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 conduites pour am\u00e9liorer les m\u00e9canismes et tester une large vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux. Avec une m\u00e9thode astucieuse pour cr\u00e9er les deux \u00e9lectrodes sur un m\u00eame disque, coinc\u00e9 entre un support en acrylique et un rev\u00eatement (en polypropyl\u00e8ne \u00e9thyl\u00e8ne fluor\u00e9), leur machine, dont le co\u00fbt est extr\u00eamement r\u00e9duit, est capable de fournir une puissance de 1,5 watt, avec une forte densit\u00e9 de puissance \u00e0 la surface du disque (19 MW\/cm2). Nous anticipons des \u00e9tudes mondiales sur ce principe. L&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de notre machine est m\u00eame comparable \u00e0 celle de g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs qui fonctionnent par induction \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique, le principe de base utilis\u00e9 par les centrales \u00e9lectriques les plus modernes \u00bb, ajoute Zhong Lin Wang. Outre les alimentations portables, les chercheurs envisagent donc de d\u00e9ployer leur solution pour des centrales \u00e9lectriques, apr\u00e8s \u00abavoir conduit des tests s\u00e9rieux \u00bb.
