Au cas o\u00f9 vous ne seriez pas d\u00e9j\u00e0 certain que les diamants ne sont pas aussi uniques et pr\u00e9cieux comme on essaie de nous le faire croire, le prochain coup pourrait \u00eatre port\u00e9 au plus grands bijoutiers du monde. \u00c0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;ondes sonores, les g\u00e9ologues ont d\u00e9couvert une gigantesque r\u00e9serve de pierres pr\u00e9cieuses situ\u00e9es au plus profond de l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la Terre, peut-\u00eatre \u00e0 hauteur de quatre cent milliards de tonnes.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a d\u00e9but\u00e9 alors qu&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe internationale de chercheurs avait entrepris de r\u00e9soudre un myst\u00e8re g\u00e9ologique de longue date. Les scientifiques devaient d\u00e9duire, en \u00e9tudiant l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 sismique, quels types de roches constituent les diff\u00e9rentes parties de la plan\u00e8te.
