Elle en analysera ensuite les poussi\u00e8res, pour tenter de r\u00e9colter des informations sur la naissance du syst\u00e8me solaire.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a atteint sa destination apr\u00e8s un p\u00e9riple de 3,2 milliards de kilom\u00e8tres. La sonde japonaise Hayabusa2 est arriv\u00e9e, mercredi 27 juin, tout pr\u00e8s de son ast\u00e9ro\u00efde-cible, Ryugu, o\u00f9 elle doit pr\u00e9lever des informations sur la naissance du syst\u00e8me solaire et l&rsquo;origine de la vie. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e fin 2014 et son retour sur Terre est pr\u00e9vu en 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Hayabusa2 s&rsquo;est stabilis\u00e9e \u00e0 20 kilom\u00e8tres de Ryugu, qui se situe actuellement \u00e0 environ 280 millions de kilom\u00e8tres de notre plan\u00e8te, a annonc\u00e9 Jaxa, l&rsquo;agence spatiale japonaise. La sonde va d\u00e9sormais maintenir cette distance le temps de remplir son objectif scientifique. Elle doit jeter violemment sur Ryugu un projectile pour provoquer un choc en surface. Ensuite, comme pour la premi\u00e8re mission, l&rsquo;objectif est de collecter des poussi\u00e8res du sous-sol de ce corps c\u00e9leste rocheux qui contient du carbone et de l&rsquo;eau, afin de tenter de comprendre quelles mati\u00e8res organiques et aqueuses \u00e9taient originellement pr\u00e9sentes dans le syst\u00e8me solaire.<\/p>\n<p>Hayabusa2 doit aussi larguer sur Ryugu un robot appel\u00e9 Minerva2 et un analyseur autonome nomm\u00e9 Mascot, con\u00e7u par le Centre national d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes spatiales fran\u00e7ais et son homologue allemand DLR. Mascot, dont la dur\u00e9e de vie n&rsquo;est que d&rsquo;une douzaine d&rsquo;heures, va employer quatre instruments. Parmi eux figure un microscope spectral d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Institut fran\u00e7ais d&rsquo;astrophysique spatiale.
