Et pour cause : selon le site Futura-sciences qui relaie l&rsquo;information, elle fr\u00f4lera de tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s la plan\u00e8te Mars en octobre 2014 et pourrait entrer en collision avec elle.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Selon les calculs des astronomes, dont le chasseur de com\u00e8tes Robert H. McNaught qui l&rsquo;a d\u00e9couverte, C\/2013 A1 passera le 19 octobre 2014 \u00e0 quelque 110.000 km de la plan\u00e8te rouge. La marge d&rsquo;erreur n&rsquo;exclut pas une collision, explique encore Futura-sciences.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Un crat\u00e8re de 500 km<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Le noyau de la com\u00e8te pourrait atteindre un diam\u00e8tre de 50 km selon les experts. Un astre d&rsquo;une telle masse provoquerait un gigantesque cataclysme et creuserait un crat\u00e8re de 500 km de diam\u00e8tre.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Bien que les risques d&rsquo;une collision restent relativement faible \u2013 les mesures vont s&rsquo;affiner ces prochains mois -, le passage de C\/2013 A1 offrira une vue imprenable depuis le sol martien. Reste \u00e0 esp\u00e9rer que les cam\u00e9ras de l&rsquo;orbiteur MRO et des rovers Opportunity et Curiosity nous envoient quelques inoubliables clich\u00e9s de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne c\u00e9leste rarissime.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Par comparaison, le crat\u00e8re de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orite qui aurait fait disparaitre les dinosaures a creus\u00e9 un crat\u00e8re de 200km.\u00a0Quels d\u00e9g\u00e2ts pourraient causer un tel ast\u00e9ro\u00efde ? L&rsquo;impact d&rsquo;un tel objet, de 5 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre seulement, d\u00e9gage une \u00e9nergie \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle lib\u00e9r\u00e9e par la bombe d&rsquo;Hiroshima ; de 50 m\u00e8tres, et c&rsquo;est comme si 1000 bombes atomiques explosaient simultan\u00e9ment. Donc un ast\u00e9ro\u00eede de 50km d\u00e9gagerait une explosion \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 1 millions de bombes atomiques. De qui pulv\u00e9riser la surface de la plan\u00e8te Mars. Un tel ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne serait forc\u00e9ment une raret\u00e9 cosmologique \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de notre syst\u00e8me solaire et cela serait \u00e9galement un \u00e9v\u00e8nement observable avec un simple t\u00e9lescope.
