Les ing\u00e9nieurs de l\u2019agence spatiale am\u00e9ricaine ont pris leur temps pour d\u00e9ployer ce premier prototype d\u2019habitat gonflable. Il aura fallu plus de 7 heures pour le gonfler totalement et le pressuriser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019habitat gonflable BEAM de la Nasa s\u2019est correctement d\u00e9ploy\u00e9<br \/>\nLa deuxi\u00e8me tentative aura \u00e9t\u00e9 la bonne. Apr\u00e8s avoir subi un \u00e9chec jeudi dernier, l\u2019habitat gonflable BEAM (Bigelow Expandable Activity Module) aura pu \u00eatre d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 totalement \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur de l\u2019ISS hier \u00e0 20h10 GMT. Ce prototype fait partie des exp\u00e9riences de la Nasa afin de cr\u00e9er un espace de vie utilisable lors d\u2019un s\u00e9jour \u00e9ventuel sur la Lune ou Mars. BEAM est peu encombrant \u00e0 transporter et une fois gonfl\u00e9, il propose un espace de 4 m\u00e8tres de long pour un diam\u00e8tre de 3,23 m\u00e8tres et un volume de 16 m3 soit l\u2019\u00e9quivalent d\u2019une petite pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab Le module est compl\u00e8tement gonfl\u00e9 maintenant et compl\u00e8tement pressuris\u00e9 \u00bb d\u00e9clarait hier Daniel Huot, le porte-parole de la Nasa avant de pr\u00e9ciser qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d&rsquo; \u00bbune journ\u00e9e pleine de succ\u00e8s avec le gonflement du premier habitacle humain gonflable ayant jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans l\u2019espace\u00ab . D\u00e9sormais, des tests vont avoir lieu pour \u00e9valuer l\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 et les astronautes vont effectuer diff\u00e9rentes t\u00e2ches pr\u00e9paratoires avant d\u2019entrer dans le module d\u2019ici une semaine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tester la r\u00e9sistance du module<br \/>\nLe module va rester amarr\u00e9 \u00e0 la Station spatiale internationale pendant 2 ans avant d\u2019\u00eatre incendi\u00e9 puis d\u00e9tach\u00e9.
