Des Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois qui habitent \u00e0 Fort McMurray ont craint pour leur vie au moment de fuir le brasier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le violent incendie de for\u00eat qui fait rage \u00e0 Fort McMurray, dans le nord de l&rsquo;Alberta, aurait vraisemblablement \u00e9t\u00e9 caus\u00e9 par l&rsquo;homme, croit le professeur Mike Flanagan, de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;Alberta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Partant du principe que l&rsquo;incendie se trouve pr\u00e8s de la ville et que les informations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques indiquent qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y avait pas d&rsquo;orage ni d&rsquo;\u00e9clairs dans ce secteur, il croit que la cause du brasier est d&rsquo;origine humaine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il fait valoir que l&rsquo;hiver doux et sec qu&rsquo;a connu l&rsquo;Ouest canadien a fait s&rsquo;accumuler au sol une \u00e9paisse couche de feuilles mortes et s\u00e8ches et du bois qui peut rapidement s&#8217;embraser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les statistiques officielles, 1200 incendies de for\u00eat sont rapport\u00e9s en moyenne chaque ann\u00e9e en Alberta, dont la moiti\u00e9 sont caus\u00e9s par l&rsquo;homme.
