Moins de 40 de ces mondes sont connus aujourd&rsquo;hui.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les trois plan\u00e8tes rep\u00e9r\u00e9es dans la constellation du Verseau sont aussi les premi\u00e8res \u00e0 \u00eatre trouv\u00e9es dans une orbite d&rsquo;une \u00e9toile naine \u00ab\u00a0Ultra froide\u00a0\u00bb, ce qui \u00e9tait difficile \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter car elle est\u00a0petite et l\u00e9g\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les d\u00e9couvertes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites par une \u00e9quipe internationale d&rsquo;astronomes de l&rsquo;UC San Diego, le MIT, la NASA, l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge en Belgique et d&rsquo;autres institutions. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a rendu ses conclusions lundi 02 mai 2016 dans la revue Nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abLe genre de plan\u00e8tes que nous avons trouv\u00e9es sont tr\u00e8s attrayantes\u00a0du point de vue de la recherche de la vie dans l&rsquo;univers et au-del\u00e0 de la Terre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au fil des ans, la glace a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte dans de nombreux endroits, y compris sur la lune de Jupiter, Europa, o\u00f9 il pourrait se cacher un oc\u00e9an. Ils ont d\u00e9tect\u00e9 l&rsquo;existence d&rsquo;un grand nombre de ces \u00ab\u00a0exoplan\u00e8tes\u00a0\u00bb en enregistrant et en analysant la lumi\u00e8re des \u00e9toiles qui se r\u00e9duit lors du passage de la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C&rsquo;est la technique qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour trouver les trois plan\u00e8tes du Verseau. L&rsquo;\u00e9toile rouge est trop petite pour \u00eatre vue par la plupart des t\u00e9lescopes. Mais elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9e plus de 62 nuits en fin d&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2015 par le t\u00e9lescope TRAPPIST \u00e0 l&rsquo;Observatoire La Silla au Chili. Des travaux qui ont suivi avec de plus grands t\u00e9lescopes ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les plan\u00e8tes semblent \u00eatre \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s de la taille de la Terre. La plan\u00e8te la plus proche de l&rsquo;\u00e9toile orbite tous les 1,5 jours. La seconde fait environ 2,4 jours. La vitesse de la troisi\u00e8me, la plan\u00e8te ext\u00e9rieure, n&rsquo;a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 clairement d\u00e9termin\u00e9e, mais peut avoir une p\u00e9riode orbitale qui dure jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 73 jours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de recherche \u00e9tait dirig\u00e9e par Micha\u00ebl Gillon de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge, qui a dit dans un communiqu\u00e9, \u00ab\u00a0Avec de si courtes p\u00e9riodes orbitales, les plan\u00e8tes sont entre 20 et 100 fois plus proches de leur \u00e9toile que la Terre du Soleil. La structure de ce syst\u00e8me plan\u00e9taire est beaucoup plus semblable \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me des lunes de Jupiter que de celle du syst\u00e8me solaire. \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La d\u00e9claration ajoute que \u00abbien qu&rsquo;ils orbitent tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s de leur \u00e9toile naine, les deux plan\u00e8tes internes ne re\u00e7oivent que deux \u00e0 quatre fois de quantit\u00e9 de rayonnement solaire re\u00e7ue que par la Terre, parce que leur \u00e9toile est beaucoup plus faible que le Soleil. C&rsquo;est un anneau orbital aux distances de laquelle l&rsquo;eau de surface est susceptible d&rsquo;\u00eatre liquide et la vie que nous connaissons la plus probable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0Il est encore possible qu&rsquo;ils poss\u00e8dent des r\u00e9gions habitables sur leurs surfaces, bien que complexes tels que leurs nuages, et les atmosph\u00e8res. Si elles ont des atmosph\u00e8res, il est encore difficile de pr\u00e9dire si les conditions de surface sont vraiment adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 la vie.
