Region 13067 [N19W40] was quiet and stable.
Region 13068 [S16W27] decayed slowly. An interesting C6 flare was recorded peaking at 17:08. The flare triggered a filament eruption to the north of the region and an EIT wave was observed expanding towards the north and northeast. It is uncertain if there was a CME associated with this event, but if it was it could be headed at Earth. C1 flare: C1.3 @ 02:47 UT.
Region 13070 [N15E17] was quiet and stable.
New region 13071 [S18E58] rotated into view late on August 1 and was numbered by SWPC 2 days later.

Spotted regions not observed (or interpreted differently) by SWPC:
New region S7743 [N21W03] emerged with tiny spots before noon, then decayed leaving only one spot 8 hours later.
New region S7744 [S24W12] emerged with tiny spots.
New region S7745 [S33W15] emerged with tiny spots.
New region S7746 [S22E33] was observed with a tiny spot in an old plage area.

C2+ flares:

Region 13068 [S16W56] developed in the leading spot section and produced a few C flares incuding a C4 flare at 06:44 UT with an associated moderate type II radio sweep. LASCO imagery had only scant coverage of the hours afterwards and it is uncertain if there was a CME. C1 flares: C1.1 @ 00:50, C1.0 @ 10:00 UT
Region 13070 [N15W03] was quiet and stable.
Region 13071 [S18E32] was quiet and stable.

New region 13073 [S34W42] emerged on August 3 and was numbered 2 days later by SWPC.
New region 13074 [S16E68] rotated into view on August 4 and was numbered by SWPC the following day.

Spotted regions not observed (or interpreted differently) by SWPC:
New region S7748 [N20E81] rotated into view at the northeast limb.
New region S7749 [S32E03] emerged with a tiny spot.
